WOW!

It's been a long time, I had actually forgot how to do this! I am tired of seeing the last post on my page when I pull it up to look at other blogs, so that is really the only reason I am posting, b/c all 3 of you that read this can probably see the title in your sleep. I haven't even downloaded halloween pic's since we got in the house, I guess I should do that, even though it is only uh..December! and we have some pic's of us hiking a couple places around here!

GUESS WHAT???

NO - I am NOT pregnant! thank the good Lord!

We are ending our overseas adventure!! I am really torn about this b/c the girls all just started school and LOVE it! I love the school too, but it is time.... and have made some really good friends, that actually the thought of saying good bye makes my stomach ache and cramp!

We have accepted a position in Phoenix, AZ and are very excited and thankful for a job and a new adventure.

Don't know many concrete details yet, but will update when I do!

We are praying for a smooth transition.

Growing up we went to church every weekend, yes, every! Even when we were on vacation, we found the nearest Catholic church, and went, even if it was in another language! ha-ha

but in Sunday school we did not "study" verses like some other religions do and I am lacking in that department. I have been asked quite a few times "what is your favorite bible verse?" and I never can come up with something that I feel really is my "fav" or defines me!!

so it brings me to my question... What is your favorite verse? Do you have just one?

Olivia's first movie rental! None of my "babies" have really like to watch TV, No baby einstein or anything. I tried but no takers. So the other day at the movie store, we got this for Olivia and to my surprise, she loves it!

she is also bouncing up and down here, and actually STOOD up for the first time too! without holding on to anything- CRAZY...she's only 9 1/2 months-

climbing on the pyramids! I didn't even know you could do this, I thought it was just "smooth" on the outside! You learn something new everyday-

in front of the first pyramid! You have to pay more, about $40 a piece to go in the Giza pyramids, which are the pyramids that eveyone knows, and they are empty inside so noone really goes inside these!

Olivia on the tour van! No car seats used there! She loved it. The driving is really crazy so everyone just hires a driver/tour guide which makes it so easy!!

Well, we went to Cairo, had a great TWO days, of a 7 day vacation, then everyone got sick! and I mean sick! When you go to a "third-world", developing country, this is to be expected. But we got it bad! We were in the room for the rest of the time, minus a few trips to the Embassy Health Unit (thank God for them) b/c we couldn't get more than 5 feet away from the potty!!

One day I know we will look back and laugh but not yet! It hasn't been quite long enough for that. Chris and I lost a combined total of 12 LBS. we did get some great pic's though...

7. watched kids so Chris could go watch the Manchester/Barcelona game with his "peeps"
8. took long soak in tub while alone!!! usually there is a baby crawling around in the bathroom while I shower/bathe

2. get a facial and massage right now
3. keep Ella occupied
4. bake better, I am a better cook than I am a "baker"

6. sit on the couch and watch tv all day

OK...OK!!!

Ok, so it's been so long that I forgot how to do this! HA! So it was a bummer for a "mom's Monday" this morning. We "run" to the bus b/c we are always just in time, mind you our apartment is about 50 feet from where the buses pick up the kids...anyway...so the girls go to get on the bus and another mom says "there's no school for the Primary School"! ?&@* WHAT?????? (the primary school is kindergarten (here it's called Primary), and Grade 1) So M gets on the bus, in a yucky mood I might add, b/c R is getting a "free" day and she isn't. and I also brought home someone else's kid too! so instead of being down to 2, I am back up to FOUR! It's not that I don't like watching other people's kids....and I did feel bad for the mom b/c she is heading to work and then we find out about the cancelation....What are the working parents supposed to do? .... I just look forward to Monday morning coffee time by myself on the couch.....

oh well.... I am going to post Easter....yeah..a little late and McKenzie's birthday photos next!

TWO places everyone should see!

ROME and The FRENCH RIVIERA-

I can't even begin to say how amazing our little weekend getaway, which kept getting extended b/c we needed more time, was. We drove down to Milan, stayed 1 night, then went through Pisa so we could see the Leaning Tower and then down to Rome. We stayed there 3 nights, then were supposed to head up to Zurich, but b/c we pushed the stay in Rome back we couldn't get the hotel in Zurich, so we ended up going to Monte Carlo, MONACO. Between the Vatican, and Monaco, I have never seen anything so beautiful- will post pic's later after I download them.

Fun while it lasted!

Well, that was fun, 24 hours of non-stop trying to make something work that is obviously NOT working. I downloaded some cute blog stuff to make it all cute and as you can see, it didn't work! so what now? don't know if I have the patience for this? Why won't this work for me? The problem is I know what I want and then found the cute stuff to go with it and now am too discouraged!! and let me tell you, the more you try the more frustrated you get!

And A Blog is Born!

So this is where it all begins..... M and R are at school (Frankfurt International School), E watching Cinderella, O in the swing and husby is traveling this week. I can honestly say that I have no idea what I am doing, but really want to design this on my own. I could pay Drama Mama to do it, she does GREAT work, but it wouldn't be any fun for me! So you can all bear with me while I learn the in's and out's of the blogging world.
